Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 72 hours prior to your canoe trip will be issued a refund. Any cancellations after that will be a forfeit of your deposit. If a cancellation is the result of weather or water conditions, the day of your canoe outing, a rain check will be issued and you may reschedule to another available day.
We want your river experience to be a safe and happy one. We ask our guests to use common sense and good manners while on the river.
Place all litter in a garbage bag and keep in your canoe until the end of the trip.
Life jackets are provided and we recommend you use them.
If canoes, kayaks, tubes, paddles, or life vests are damaged beyond the normal wear, you will be expected to pay the repair or replacement cost. You are responsible for all equipment. Should you lose a canoe, kayak or tube, you will be expected to pay full replacement costs.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Reservations may be made by calling 319-480-3211 seven days a week. A $10 pre-payment per canoe/kayak and $5 per tube is required for all rentals. Deposits should be mailed to: Outback Canoe Rental, 19599 242nd Street, Monticello, IA 52310. (Please note: This is a separate mailing address from the canoe shuttle location).
